St. William School Special Ed Program strives to ensure that each child is able to reach his or her full potential. Our goal is to teach and/or improve social, behavioral, communication, and academic skills for children with Autism and Special Needs. Our on-going assessments ensure continued appropriate placement.
Our program offers both resource room and inclusive settings for students with special needs. Our support staff includes a Reading Specialist for grades K-2, Intervention Specialists, Speech Pathologists, an Occupational Therapist, School Psychologist, School Counselor, Title 1 Reading & Math teacher, and Paraprofessionals.
The St. William School Special Ed Program may be the perfect place to give your child the “jump start” he or she needs in academic, as well as social preparation. Our staff will assist in planning a successful transition to other educational levels when needed.
Parents can apply for the Jon Peterson or Autism scholarships which cover tuition, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and an Intervention Specialist to provide direct instruction based on the students’ individual needs.
